In Hewitt, redistricting is the process of redrawing Ward Boundary lines for voter representation. The 2020 Census data guided the City through the process of redistricting in an attempt to equitably balance the three Wards qualified electors. The Hewitt City Council adopted the new Ward boundaries, effective January 9, 2023.
