Bradley (Brad) Turner grew up in Hewitt and has lived here for most all of his life. He is married to his wife, Andrea, and together they have two daughters, Joley and Rachel. He is the son of Charles D. (Charlie) and Brenda Turner, also from Hewitt.
Bradley has an associates degree from McLennan Community College, a bachelors degree in history and political science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a masters in American history from Baylor University, a masters in Environmental Studies from Baylor University, and a masters in Environmental Geosciences from Mississippi State University. Bradley also published several local books about Waco history and the greater Waco area and works as a professor in environmental science at McLennan Community College.
Brad has served on the Hewitt Board of Adjustment and on the board that helped with updating the Hewitt city charter.
On a personal note, Brad enjoys playing music, hiking, exercise, and learning new things about a wide-range of subjects.
Bradley possesses a deep love for our community and is honored to serve it as a member of the city council.
